Hysan Place is building a brand-new lifestyle hub on its two basement floors. Inspired by the idea of #URBANHOOD, the new lifestyle location at B1/F and B2/F of the popular Hysan Place connects the bustling high-traffic Hennessy Road and Exit F2 of the Causeway Bay MTR station. Taking pride in building a gathering place with cafes and restaurants from Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Korea; together with close to 40 lifestyle and entertainment brands and retail outlets. Taking after the success of #UrbanSky and #UrbanPark, Hysan Place’s semi-outdoor skateboarding space, #URBANHOOD connects popular culture and the creative generation of lifestyle individuals with the many lifestyle outlets, together with 120 local and international brands and dining outlets, to create an engaging experience fit for all generations.

Set to open in December 2023 to catch the festive seasons, #URBANHOOD aims to build connections among varying lifestyle demographics. It is a gathering place for all experiences from fashion to dining. The significance lies in ‘Connected To All Experiences”, highlighted in the two basement floors of Hysan Place, set to shatter existing boundaries and limitations of the conventional arcade shopping and inspire many to become more engaging in the experience.

The Iconic Urban Design
After winning design awards in Asia’s MIPIM and global recognition, #URBANHOOD takes after Hysan Place’s legacy in contemporary design ethos, highlighting the two-floor lifestyle space to be the connection between MTR transit and shopping district with ideas and designs of a multi-dimensional metropolitan city. Boasting Nordic elements and a minimalistic philosophy, complete with soft earth tones, #URBANHOOD introduces a lively spirit to the space. Collaborating with renowned local artist Bao Ho, the B2/F features Ho’s bespoke mural art, elevating the food hub into a lifestyle space.
The new #URBANHOOD lifestyle hub will connect with Hysan Place’s other floors, where over 120 local and foreign dining and lifestyle outlets such as Hong Kong’s first HUF store, The North Face Concept Store, i.t, Popcorn and the SONY shop, “Connecting All Experiences” ethos to build a larger, lifestyle-oriented community.
