Find happiness captured in sweet photos

“Simple Happiness Gallery” is Kotori Kawashima’s first exhibition in Hong Kong. In addition to his new collection, Koufuku (Happiness), the exhibition also features a display allowing visitors to recreate a photo from his famous Mirai collection, as well as an interactive message board.

Inside “Simple Happiness Gallery” 1: Koufuku, Kotori’s first exhibition in Hong Kong
Kotori visited Hong Kong to capture the city’s many faces and heart-warming scenes from his own unique perspective, allowing us to appreciate the city from a new angle. Models in Koufuku include “Hipster Girl” Angela Yuen, “The Cute TV Drama Baby” Kerry Tsui (Bao Bao), and the everyday citizens of Hong Kong.

Inside “Simple Happiness Gallery” 2: Becoming part of Kotori’s work
If you are a fan of Kotori’s adorable Mirai-chan collection, now is your chance to recreate a favourite moment! Visitors of all ages are welcome to the Mirai Photo Corner, where they can pull a funny face through a hole in a sliding door panel for their own cute “Mirai” photo!

Inside “Simple Happiness Gallery” 3: Sharing your happiest memories
Share a greeting with someone special or send a happy wish out to the world at the interactive Fortune Board. Kids especially are welcome to draw creative images or express their thoughts.

Inside “Simple Happiness Gallery” 4: A charity sale of Kotori Kawashima’s limited edition postcards of Hong Kong
Kotori has selected six photographs from the Koufuku collection for a series of limited edition commemorative postcards to be sold to benefit the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, which supports the participation and development of people with disabilities in the arts. When visitors donate HK$100 or more, not only will they receive this postcard set, but the Lee Hysan Foundation will match the amount donated. (Postcards available on a first come, first served basis.)
